The New Parra x Nike Air Max 1 + Spiridon Capsule Collection Comes Out On July 21

Nike and Parra have come together yet again to bless sneaker-starved fans with a new capsule collection. The Dutch artist and the sportswear giant have teamed up before as well. In 2005, they created the ‘Amsterdam’ version of Air Max 1. Then they joined hands again for a three-way collaboration including Patta as well for the creation of Air Max 1 Cherrywood.
Their latest collaborative range is going to be small and a limited edition. The latest assortment has four pieces – two new iterations of Air Max 1, Zoom Spiridon, and a jacket. Let’s explore the latest Air Max 1 and Zoom Spiridon renditions. The common factor among all the pieces here: a mishmash of prints on white bases.
Latest Parra Air Max 1
The newest design of the Air Max 1 which is set to drop this month is a colorful blend of candy stripes pattern and polka dotted print. While the base of the upper is white, a graphic blue swoosh marks it place on the sidewall with another small swoosh signature in pink on the forefront. The outsole is black, blue, pink, and purple.
The mudguard has a pink and purple candy stripe pattern, a polka dot print, and another candy stripe print in grey and white. A red tag with Air Max text and swoosh detailing is present on the tongue. Parra’s signature is signed on the forefoot of one sidewall too. The instep and the midsole are white whereas the midfoot has grey paneling.
Latest Parra Air Max 1 Friends and Family Edition
The F&F version of Parra’s Air Max 1 shares resemblance with the original iteration that is set to drop with it. These sneakers have a white base and a blue outsole instead of a multicolored one. The original version is comparatively less colorful although it also boasts a multitude of popping hues in its own might. The midfoot of this pair features blue paneling with grey cloud graphics.
Moreover, candy red-white stripes take a place around the ankle collar. The instep of the Friends and Family pair is orange. The mudguard of this shoe has pink and purple stripes whereas the polka dotted print, other candy striping details, and the branding of the shoe take up similar position as in the basic rendition.
Latest Parra Zoom Spiridon
Dramas online Zoom first made its debut in 1997. This new rendition by Parra gives popping print and color detailing to the sneaker’s white base. The outsole is blue, the white midsole has a wavy pattern, the mudguard has the same mashup with different placements of candy stripe and polka dot prints while the insole is also patterned. The rest of the upper of the shoe features white mesh.
That wrapped up, these three sneakers are set to drop on July 21 along with a track jacket which features the same prints as the shoes do. The Air Max 1 is priced at $150 whereas the Zoom Spiridon will come for $140.
